 Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Tactics Principal Information Assurance Engineer, you will manage the planning and implementing the requirements of all regulatory requirements for Information Assurance (IA) in accordance with prevailing DoD, Army and other relevant government policies and regulatory guidance.  Manage the development and delivery of the full range of accreditation documentation. Perform primary interface with Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Architectural Design personnel to insure IA concepts are included in the system architectures and designs. Manage Information Assurance Specialist personnel. Responsible for the quality of IA deliverables. Continually research and maintain currency in IA related knowledge, policies and regulations. Ensure IA solutions are included in system architectures and processes. IA Engineers will conduct Certification and Accreditation (C&A) using the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process(DIACAP), Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3 Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information within information systems, or DoD 8510.01 as appropriate to achieve uniform quality and a level of consistency throughout the life cycle of INSCOM Automated Information System (AIS).

 

Requirements: 

  • Engineers will need to be able to evaluate potential IA security risks and take appropriate corrective and recovery action and perform system audits to assess security related factors within the NE.
  • Engineers also need to be able to diagnose and resolve IA problems in response to reported incidents.
  • TS/SCI Clearance is required with closed investigation date.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must be in compliance with DoD 8570 certification (Baseline certs include; GSEC or SEC+ or SCNP or SSCP- IAWF Level IAM I-III).

 

Knowledge of the following is required: Open SSO, Apache/HTTP

 

Education Requirements

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other scientific or technical discipline directly related plus ten (10) years of relevant experience.

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other scientific or technical discipline directly related plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.

OR

Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other scientific or technical discipline directly related plus fourteen (14) years of relevant experience.

OR

Fifteen (15) years of total relevant experience.
