SUMMARY: Utilizes professionalism to represent the bank on the job and outside the bank by performing the following duties: 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


Process all paid outs files for the bank within the required timeframes and procedures established by the state, county and federal laws.  Update LQAS system on paid-out docs status. Process Flood Hazard Cert cancellations on paid-outs. Monitor distribution email or web-page inbox for paid-outs and respond to research requests. Maintain and coordinate storage of paid-out records. Serve as backup to Vault Custodian on file and doc pull/copy requests. Work with other departmental personnel on various duties as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:   High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in, or ability to quickly comprehend and apply, cancellation process on various paid-out loan types.


COMPUTER SKILLS:   Expertise with commercial operations software applications, including lending software and transmission applications and PC software including word processing, spreadsheets, email and intranet applications.


LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS:   Ability to read, write, and speak English.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to compose simple business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from lending department associates and customers.


ANALYTICAL SKILLS:  Ability to understand and apply governmental requirements and regulations surrounding cancellation of loan documents. Ability to research Recorder Office records, doc and loan status information to respond to research requests.


REASONING ABILITY:   Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret financial institution regulations and a variety of business instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


SAFETY, SECURITY and CONFIDENTIALITY  This position requires keeping complete confidentiality of all customer transactions and information, and paying close attention to security within and around the bank's premises at all times.
