 General Description

 The Investment Research Associate is responsible for formulating projects and conducting quantitative modeling which support Parametric Clifton’s investment offerings, new product development, and other research project requests.

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Construct data sets and perform quantitative analysis to support research, marketing, and product development projects
  • Assist with the creation of new investment products and develop prototypes
  • Produce research for internal and external distribution
  • Work closely and collaborate with the investment team and other groups throughout the company
  • Present investment research to staff, clients, investment advisors and consultants.
  • Assist with the creation of research notes and white papers for internal and external publication.

 Job Requirements

  • Masters in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or similar field required
  • 3+ years related work experience

 Knowledge and experience in:

  • Investment management industry
  • Understanding of derivative instrument and factors used to determine their prices
  • Statistics, portfolio theory, investments, and finance
  • Use of research tools such as Excel, Matlab, R, CPLEX, FactSet, Bloomberg, and/or statistical tools that allow for quantitative modeling and analysis
  • Quantitative modeling, optimization, simulation, and portfolio construction
