Description

World Wide Technology/Telcobuy has an Account Manager opportunity for selling to top tier Service Providers.  This Account Manager will achieve goals by selling World Wide Technology/Telcobuy’s Data Center solutions with OEMs including Cisco, EMC, HP, NetApp and VMware.  Account Managers will also work to expand WWT/Telcobuy’s footprint of services capabilities including deployment services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing and find new business within accounts
  • Create inventory and service programs for large deployments
  • Sell WWT/Telcobuy’s suite of Data Center solutions with multiple OEMs including Cisco, EMC, HP, NetApp and VMWare and WWT/Telcobuy Professional Services to and through service providers
  • Help sell “reference architecture” solutions to managed service groups
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and OEMs
  • Professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision making managers at customer
  • Work with support team (inside sales, business development, technical architects, systems engineers, professional services, etc.) coordinating various sales activities
  • Continuing education on evolving networking, server, virtualization, storage technologies
  • Travel up to 25-40% primarily in the US

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of sales experience in the Data Center market selling Cisco, EMC, NetApp, VMWare, HP to Fortune 500 companies or service providers
  • Ideal experience includes successful track record of selling Servers, Storage, Virtualization and Networking into service providers
  • Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to understand client’s technical challenge and develop the appropriate solutions
  • Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer’s organization and managing partner relationships
  • An in depth knowledge of Data Center and Advanced Technologies
  • Candidate must be an aggressive self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, communicate Data Center product knowledge and close deals quickly
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
