Description

Overview/Essential Duties:

 

  1. Significant direct interaction with customers to deliver services including DSLAM, G/EPON, VoIP, Pots commissioning, integration, testing and troubleshooting.
  2. Provide on-site and remote support to customer on Access Networks product issues.
  3. Perform upgrade, routine inspection, and system diagnosis for the live network.
  4. Provide training and technical support to subcontractors who work for Huawei and deploy Access Networks product hardware installation and commissioning.

 

 

Skills/Requirements:

  1. BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Quick learner and self-starter, with a willingness to dive in and do everything required to be successful on the job.
  3. Willingness to take ownership of deployments and make them successful.
  4. Must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  5. Over 5 years related work experience in a technology environment would be an asset. Knowledge of telecommunication technologies (Transportation Network and Data Network) is a plus such as fundamental understanding of access network infrastructure (TCP/IP, G/EPON, ATM, xDSL, SIP, H.248, DWDM, and Router Protocol).
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability.
  7. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  8. Able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
