The Role

Works in close contact with senior management to execute full cycle recruitment programs for all facets of the organization including: Biological Sciences, Engineering and Geosciences, Socio- Economic Sciences and Administrative Support as required.

Analytical and skills assessment strength and high degree of comfort drafting career postings, screening, collecting and filtering high volumes of résumés and CV’s and managing follow-up through appropriate hiring managers.

Solid technical candidate interview skills and process management ability including: interview coordination and logistics, ranking, reference checking, market compensation insight and employment offer progression.

Excellent research skills and established expertise in utilizing creative means to access skilled talent pools both in Canada and internationally, including: industry specific websites, social media, professional networking site navigation, trade/recruitment shows, association memberships, and internal corporate referrals.

Experience in guiding foreign professionals through the Canadian immigration process considered a plus.
Qualifications

University degree in a relevant discipline

3+ years progressive experience in a Technical Recruitment role in an engineering, environmental consulting or directly related professional services firm.

Exceptional organizational skills combined with attention to accuracy and detail.

Comfort in delivering measurable results within a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to message and manage confidential information with tact and discretion.

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo etc.), HRIS systems and MS Office.

Ability to forge strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Working toward a CHRP designation preferred.
