General Position Description

The Business Analyst is part of the Corporate Technology Department and will participate in the design, documentation, and integration of business process and related information systems throughout the organization. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and defining requirements, determining cost, calculating ROI, and developing project plans. You must have the ability to solve problems, the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals, and have an outstanding ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.  Ideal candidates will also have experience with web and desktop applications, be familiar with application integration, understand data architecture, and possess a solid understanding of user interface and experience principles.

Primary Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on, functional experience with JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne / OneWorld ERP Software
• Expert level knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) Human Resources (HR) and Payroll modules
• Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) General Accounting (GA) and Financial modules
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office Products
• Self-Directed, Organized and Motivated to Accomplish Goals
• Excellent functional / technical writing and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent academic record

Additional Relevant Experience

• Agile Project Management
• Software or Web Application Development
• Application and Database Integration
• Experience with Oracle, DB2 or Other SQL Databases
• Experience with Linux, UNIX or iSeries Systems
• Knowledge of the Construction, Industrial, or Power Industries
• Experience with any of the following applications: Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, eBuilder,
  The GIMP, HCSS HeavyBid, Mantis, Moodle, Primavera P6, Salesforce.com, Skype, Success Factors, Taleo.
