Teller Supervisor (Hire Ahead Support Staff)
Branches: Miami Gardens, Downtown, Hialeah, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Children’s Hospital, Coral Gables, Main
Candidate will supervise and support the teller staff through effective coaching and staff development.
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the branch has been balanced and the daily work distributed properly and will provide management support in the absence of the Branch Manager and or Assistant Branch Manager, such as in making decisions as it relates to the placement/removal of check holds, approving exceptions, etc.
Teller Supervisor is also responsible for the following: ordering cash, monitoring teller cash limits, overseeing daily ATM settlement, and reconciling and maintaining all negotiable items, ensuring that all security and monetary controls are followed, conducting monthly audits of teller work for accuracy and completeness, and most importantly ensure that the teller staff provides friendly, courteous, and efficient service to the membership.
Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; be self-motivated, flexible and detail oriented. High School diploma or equivalent required. Two year college degree in related field and a minimum of two years previous supervisory experience preferred.
While a part of the Hire Ahead Support Staff, candidate must have the ability to be flexible and meet all Credit Union branch schedules which will include extended branch and Saturday hours and In-store branch hours. Once a position becomes available at a branch within the region, the candidate will be placed permanently at the specific location on a first hired, first placed basis with the exception of those branches with a bilingual need.
