Title: Experienced Sales Consultant

Summary of Position:

The Sales Consultant is most responsible but not limited to ensure the smooth transaction of the new car sales to assist the department to achieve its determined sales targets. In addition, the Consultant is responsible for achieving agreed sales objectives for new and/or pre-owned vehicles. Furthermore, the Consultant is responsible for contributing to the development of plans, policies, and procedures; in addition, they are to follow and carry out such procedures to ensure the achievement of all sales tasks.

Job Description:

  • Prepares and uses the planned sales presentation, designed to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities including: customer greeting; qualifying; handling objections; product presentation and demonstrations; closing and delivery
  • Inquiring customers’ needs and select the right product and services for customers
  • Obtains complete customer’s information and enters into the “One Eighty” system
  • Uses “One Eighty” system for customer follow-up to create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new businesses
  • Develops and uses a planned daily, weekly, and monthly sales follow-up schedule and program, as approved by Sales Manager
  • Maintains updated on BMW products, available services, accessories, prices, financing and leasing information
  • Maintains updated on major competitors’ products, and pricing
  • Handles customer complaints and ensures they are resolved to achieve customer satisfaction; advises Customer Relations Manager and/or Sales Manager when necessary and when appropriate
  • Maintains and updates records of all sales activities
  • Ensures the completion of all sale and financial paperwork
  • Participating in valets for customers on a monthly basis

RequiredSkills and Qualifications

  • Atleast 3 years of Car Sales experience in Metro Vancouver, preferably European car brands
  • A valid VSA licence required
  • Extensiveknowledge in car sales – i.e. prospect follow-up strategies, closing sales,negotiation, etc.
  • Self-starterwho is organize and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Abilityto learn and adhere to sales processes with stringent deadlines
  • Strongcommunication skills (oral and written)
  • Outstandingcustomer service skills in order to maintain high referral rate
  • Abilityto problem solve, multi-task and prioritize work accordingly
  • Eligibleto legally work in Canada
