Established in 1987, The Service Companies (FSS/SSC/JRS) is an international provider of back of house outsourced hospitality services. Our services include Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning, Overnight Deep Kitchen Cleaning, Stewarding and Exterior High Rise Window and Chandelier cleaning.
 
All of our customers are nationally established well known hotels, casinos, vacation ownership resorts and malls. Due to our rapid growth and expansion we are seeking high quality individuals for the position of:
 
Laundry Attendant
 
Summary of Job
 
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms while providing great customer service. Accountable for cleaning required number of rooms making beds, changing linens, cleaning toilets, sinks and mirrors. Works with cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment. Ensures that rooms are cleaned to standard operating and quality procedures.
 
Essential Job Functions
 
      Retrieve and sort dry cleaning to and from guest rooms and hotel departments
Sort, wash, iron and fold hotel laundries and linens
      Ensures that rooms are cleaned to required quality standards.
      Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees.
      Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.
      Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida.
      Asks supervisor or other employees for help when needed.
      Is open to coaching and feedback from supervisor. Makes improvement.
      Works weekends and holidays.
      Acts as a role model to other Service Company employees.
 
Qualifications:
 
High School education or GED.
Prior housekeeping, cleaning or customer service experience preferred.
 
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
Must meet company and clients appearance standards.
Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis.
