This is a position within the Octagon Marketing Trainee Program. The Event Trainee will support the implementation of a national driving program and act as a “Brand Ambassador” for a luxury automotive client. Potential responsibilities include market/on-site activation, event planning logistics, customer service, event analysis, managing administrative documents and competitive research. The program will consist of six tours traveling nationwide to execute events at various dealerships and allow consumers a unique behind-the-wheel test drive experience. Tour teams will consist of nine team members, including one Tour Manager. The position will require traveling with the tour throughout its duration and working well as part of a cohesive team. Events will take place on both weekdays and weekends; travel days as well as off days are built into the schedule. .
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn on-site logistics and event activation, to be able to successfully engage with consumers and receive training and development in brand engagement and awareness, customer service etc. Strong team dynamics skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required for this position. 100% travel, including weekends, evenings and holidays is required.
