Position Purpose:  To blend powders per provided specification and package into finished products.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Operate production equipment to produce quality product per assigned schedules.
  • Safe operation of equipment per established procedures.
  • Basic preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Housekeeping all plant areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • Ability to work with others and maintain an acceptable attitude.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, and learn new tasks required.
  • Reprocess powders into custom size bags.
  • Preventative maintenance as assigned in daily task
  • Comply with all established Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality management systems and regulations.
  • Keep accurate record of time worked.
  • Any other duties assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Required HS Diploma or equivalent.  Some computer skills are a plus.
  • 2- years Industrial plant experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and perform written instructions (English or Spanish)
  • Good mathematical and reasoning skills are required.
  • Ability to collaborate with other production and warehouse employees to meet production demands based on appropriate schedules.
  • Individual must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Individual must meet all physical demands of the job (see below).
  • Previous certification for forklifts is preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours, including on elevated surfaces and climbing ladders or stairs.
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights.
  • Must be able to properly wear all required PPE.
  • Must pass a drug test.
