Description

Job Description: Database Administration & troubleshooting of Database related issues; normal monitoring of the database; regular maintenance activities

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Job Requirements:

Must have worked at least 3+ years in Oracle database as a DBA Administrator.
Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering or closely related degree
Should have at least 2 years of hands on experience and min of two implementations as Database Admin.
Should have at least Two Oracle Database end-to-end implementations experience and must have worked in all phases of Implementation/Upgrade: Requirements gathering, query resolution, application design, configuration, database setup, and production support.
Must have worked in at least one implementation/upgrade that are of onsite/offshore model.
Must have experience in supporting highly customized Oracle database.
Should have good understanding on the data model.
Should have good understanding on the integration points for any 3rd party applications, specifically which draw data from the Oracle database.
Should have worked with Oracle on SR’s in case of any product bugs.
