Description

Summary:

The Regional Education Manager (North Carolina / Ohio) is the ambassador of Benefit’s unique and successful 8-Step Magic Formula of selling and demonstration skills, application techniques, product information, and clienteling.  This person ensures that Benefit’s Beauty Artists, Aestheticians, Counter Managers, Lead Sales Aestheticians, and Business Managers are continually educated and skilled on all basic, seasonal, and promotional product and event needs, and always creates a fun, energetic, informative, and skill-driven environment for Benefit learning.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Works in tandem with Benefit Regional Sales Management, San Francisco Office, and Wholesale Partner to coordinate scheduling of all Basic, Seasonal, Promotional, Event, and In-Store Education for Benefit Beauty Artists, Aestheticians, Counter Managers, Lead Sales Aestheticians, and Business Managers
• Implements all Benefit education seminars to achieve desired business results, and does so in an engaging, fun and professional manner
• Identifies and provides feedback to Regional Sales Management of staff’s in-store skills
• Identifies and provides feedback to NED’s on “in-store” observations and needs
• Partners with Benefit management on methods for improving or enhancing sales and services goal attainment

• Coaches Beauty Artists and Aestheticians on the importance of “conversion” and “client loyalty” in brow bar/brow cart environment
• Assists in new store openings to ensure compliance and success with Benefit’s Magic Formula
• Continually inspires and acts as a Benefit role-model, teaching by example the behaviors Benefit wants to see
• Responsible for working with NEDS and VP of Education and Development on the implementation of National Sales Meetings
• Manages allocated regional education budget, and personal T & E and Air travel budgets and reports all expenditures on-time, following Benefit policy and procedures
• Responsible for booking all personal travel arrangements
• Responsible for ensuring safety of all computer and audio visual equipment needed for presentations
• All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in sales or education
• Active Aesthetician or Cosmetology license preferred
• Must have strong indirect or direct management experiences demonstrated by positive sales or services performance
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook
• Ability to travel 75-80% of the time
• Must have proof of insurance, current and valid driver’s license, and reliable means of transportation
• High level of personal presentation
