Marketing Analytics Specialist

Location: US - MA - Boston

Description

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for a Lead Generation Specialist to join our world-class C&I Marketing organization. Based in Boston, this position will report to the Lead Generation Manager.

In this role, you’ll help us to:

• Analyze our markets to identify populations of energy-intensive facilities and energy decision-makers that our sales team can approach about our products
• Develop and refine predictive models to help EnerNOC target the most attractive facilities and prospects, making Sales more efficient
• Help manage the prospect data in EnerNOC’s CRM system, turning our understanding of the energy management landscape into a competitive advantage

You should apply for this position if you:

• Inspire trust in your teammates – you are a go-to person on your team, and you collaborate well
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals and no step-by-step ‘how-to’ guide for how to get the job done
• Are curious and pragmatic – often digging deep and coming up with creative solutions to problems, but always keeping the big picture in mind
• Believe in the power of data to solve big problems (change the way the world uses energy…) and slightly smaller problems (identify the top 500 energy users in these 100 zip codes…)
• Believe that you are the best person to help us leverage our data – because you’ve done impactful analysis in the workplace or in academia

Required Qualifications:

• Professional experience:  You’ve excelled in at least one full-time job in an analytical function.  The field is less important than the nature of the work
• Education:  Regardless of your field of study, you were passionate about it, became an expert, and were able to explain your work to non-specialists
• Technical Skills:  While the most important quality that you’ll bring to this position is the capacity to learn new technical skills to do your job well, you likely have deep experience with data analysis using Excel, R, or another software package
