We have an excellent opportunity for a Global Finance Manager in our Clopay Plastic Products Company in Mason, OH.
The Global Finance Manager is responsible for developing new global financial processes and strengthening internal controls. They will be responsible for building strong relationships across all functions, leading implementation of GRC (Oracle Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance) to be used to support SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) requirements, and providing automated internal controls.
Lead implementation project for Oracle GRC.
Develop a standardized monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliation process across all regions to support tighter monitor & control across the organization.
Document and create processes and procedures for SOX. Create system and internal controls for all global locations.
Conduct balance sheet reviews for each region on a quarterly basis.
Work closely with Clopay headquarters in regards to Foreign GAAP and US GAAP adjustments and develop a more structured process to reconcile inter-company activity.
Build relationships and interact with employees in Corporate Headquarters and at the Parent Company (Griffon) as needed.
Travel 20% of the time to other Clopay locations in North America, Europe, Brazil, China and Turkey.
Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience required. Some or all work experience should include employment with a Big 4 Financial firm.
Ability to speak either Portuguese and/or German a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system required. Strong knowledge of MS programs, including Excel and Word, preferred. Experience with Hyperion or similar financial reporting system a plus.
Must be a self-starter who is able and willing to solve problems.
Must have the ability to build relationships across all functional departments in the Company.
Must be willing to travel 10% domestically and occasional international travel, which could add up to 20% total travel time.
