Our client, a leader in the design and manufacture of sophisticated products, is seeking to add a Systems Analyst to their team. Candidates below with the following experience are invited to apply:
Business Systems Analyst – Manufacturing
Basic Function: This position has responsibility for the business analysis of tactical and strategic initiatives for Manufacturing operations across multiple sites. Key tasks will include but are not limited to: development of business requirements, analysis of business processes and systems, creation and execution test plans and communication of project deliverables. This position will work closely with IT and other functional business leaders for Manufacturing, Materials and Engineering to create a framework for how technology will be leveraged as an asset for the company. This position will be a key contributor on the Manufacturing Process optimization and continuous business improvement
Essential Duties:
•Must possess leadership capability - ability to understand the motives and objectives of the Corporation and communication/interpersonal skills to effectively carry out responsibilities and to develop and motivate others.
•Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Self-starter that doesn't need to wait for instructions; takes action to achieve goals; proactive
•Analyzing business and functional requirements and working with Manufacturing and other business analysts to produce detailed designs and provide detailed estimates for new features, enhancements or repairs to existing programs
•Develop and/or modify programs per the detailed designs and within previously established estimates
•Test the program using a combination of unit testing, and previously established test data
•Document the program, its configuration options, and its expected results
•Stays current with changes in technology as well as changes within the Corporation. Uses this knowledge to recommend improvement in systems and procedures.
•Discuss with company management the status of IT related projects, changes and issues
•Facilitates prioritization of new IT requests
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year College or University in related field
Professional Experience •Five to Seven years in a Manufacturing systems position is required. •Application design, development and testing business application software
•Deep experience in Manufacturing processes and applications
•Strong functional experience with ERP Systems
•Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
Other Requirements:
•Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
•Must be able and willing to collaborate in a team/cooperative environment as well as exercise independent judgment and initiative
•Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple project deadlines
•Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
•Extremely detail oriented and strong customer service focus
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Occasional travel may be required.
