Description

STRUCTURAL collaborates with clients to improve infrastructure by combining our award-winning specialty construction, repair and maintenance services with our proprietary technologies to provide innovative solutions for demanding engineering and construction challenges.

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Project Manager for our San Francisco Bay Area branch, located in Benicia, CA.  Our Project Managers are responsible for generating innovative repair solutions utilizing assistance from our internal Technology Groups, providing strong field management, negotiating contracts and material purchases, project scheduling and managing subcontractors.  Project Managers are heavily involved in the estimating process and are responsible for managing costs / budgets throughout the duration of a project.  We rely on our Project Managers to develop and maintain strong client relationships and to deliver safety and quality control to our job sites.

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • Prior profit and loss responsibility over multiple projects in excess of $2 million
  • Be accustomed to working on projects with urban site conditions, high-rise structure access
  • Be able to read and interpret plans, specifications and estimate takeoffs
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a construction project management role
  • More than 10 years of construction related experience, specifically with Masonry and Concrete Restoration
  • Previous experience leading multiple structural restoration and repair projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate basic contracts and subcontract as well as the ability to evaluate risk and loss exposure on projects managed
  • Previous experience working for a self-performing contractor
  • Experience working with union trades
