Embedded Software Engineer

Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of features in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Architects, Technical Leads, and QA Engineers on delivering features. You will be involved in the full software development life cycle from planning, design, to implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of Architects and Tech Leads to translate the system  requirements into a sub-system/module design 
• Work with other sub-system developers to design, document and implement the interface modules
• Implementing high-quality, high-performance code
• Debugging and troubleshooting problems in test and in production
• Create and execute the unit test plan and interface test plan

Qualifications:

• BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 2-6 years of experience in Software development either in Data networking or Embedded system domain
• Programming knowledge (C/C++)
• Debugging and troubleshooting of problems in an embedded system
• One of: FreeBSD, Linux, Unix
• Understanding of the Basic Networking Concepts like TCP/IP
• Guide and mentor new team members
• Knowledge on one of the following will be an asset
  • Wireless Core Switching or Radio Access Network Products with exposure to 3GPP
  • Network access gateways such as BRAS, GGSN, PDSN, ASN Gateway, CMTS will be an advantage
  • Networking protocols like RADIUS, Diameter, LDAP, GTP, GRE, MPLS, etc. will be an advantage
