POSITION: Operational Engineering and Analysis Branch Acquisition Management
SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Assist the Government in researching, interpreting, analyzing, and applying acquisition guidelines, policies, and regulations in order to resolve problems and make recommendations regarding acquisition activities. Prepare acquisition plans, SOWs, performance work statements (PWSs), source selection plans, and other pre proposal documentation. Provide inputs to acquisition documentation.
Provide advisory and assistance to the JPC and WEAPS contract government task managers and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in the daily administration of the JPC and the WEAPS contract efforts. Analyze and review contractual letters, provide recommended responses, prepare evaluations of Contract Change Proposals, and support Configuration Control Board process. Develop and maintain a program level Integrated Master Schedule for current tasks and follow-on task orders. Monitor JPC and WEAPS task order expenditures and prepare monthly funds status reports. Advise and assist in evaluating proposals and conducting fact-finding activities in a non decision making role and assisting in developing source selection documentation and briefings. Analyze and review JPC and WEAPS contractor proposals and assist in preparing responses.
Extensive knowledge of the DoD acquisition life cycle framework and ability to apply DoD systems acquisition policy, instructions and guidance. Demonstrated ability to support a broad spectrum of DoD acquisition program management processes. Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects and tasks. Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience. Undergraduate degree desired; advanced degree preferred. APDP or equivalent professional certification in Program Management desired.
