Baylis Medical Company is involved in the design, manufacturing and marketing of innovative medical devices in the areas of Cardiology, Radiology and Interventional Pain Management.

We are presently seeking a Production Technologist to join our Production team to assist with the manufacturing of these products.  This individual will be responsible for maintenance, calibration, and trouble shooting of production equipment & tools in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repair and trouble shooting of production equipment, tools & support equipment
• Install new equipment, perform equipment testing, and preliminary set-up.
• Coordinate ESA & Health and Safety commissioning.
• Perform equipment set-up for the next production lot.
• Design tools, jigs and fixtures for Production.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturer on any equipment issues and troubleshooting concerns.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Must have a College Diploma and/or Certification in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Technical training on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronics an advantage.
• Experience is trouble shooting of equipment is required.
• Experience in plastics, PLC programming, molding, laser welding, heat sealing and extrusion is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance software, Microsoft Office and Solidworks 
• Detail oriented, highly organized, quick thinker, and ability to work under pressure
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
