The Strategy Consultant is a role within the Strategy team reporting to the General Manager, Loyalty Consulting.  The Strategy Consultant will be mandated to support building and growing the strategy business.  The vision entails using all available diagnostic tools and a disciplined approach to next generation strategy development to drive value for our clients’ business.   We desire to be strategic advisors to our clients and their ‘loyalty experts’ in our chosen verticals of financial services, retail, consumer packaged goods and telecommunications.  The desired business outcome for our clients is the enhanced engagement and loyalty of their customers across the entire customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of assignments such as data gathering and analysis, executive interviews, meeting facilitation
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team of high performing strategy consultants across the Aimia network of sector and functional experts
  • Develop strong understanding and knowledge of services and product solutions, promote thought leadership
  • Develop strong understanding and knowledge of the role of analytics in strategy development
  • Maintain excellent relationships both internally and with clients

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a loyalty marketing or consulting capacity.  A university education with a quantitative background is preferred.
  • Depth of understanding of loyalty marketing; sector expertise in financial services, retail, CPG or telco preferred
  • Highly analytical with expertise in converting data findings into actionable strategies
  • Consulting and / or client management experience desirable
  • Past experience working in a cross-functional high performing, multi-tasking team
  • Disciplined approach to consulting and strategy development
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel required (including Proposal and Report development)
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and leadership skills
  • Bilingual (French / English) an asset
