Job Description

AS Customer Engagement Marketing Manager, you act as the voice of the customer – singing our praises from the rooftops and ‘traffic-managing’ any feedback through our advocacy, key account and customer community programs. Taking the lead in our customer engagement marketing will see you strategize on how to engage and communicate with our customers to drive increased satisfaction and reference ability. You will engage with sales, sales enablement, product management and the executive team to foster collaborative approaches to addressing our global customer base. Our industries are very self-referencing so you will be responsible to know how well we are doing, and how we can improve our customer satisfaction in the market. As a global leader in marketing you will drive customer-focused research programs to fruition and be the expert when it comes to our customers.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be an expert with respect to our key customers
  • Act as a leader within the company
  • Develop quality sales tools and collateral
  • Share research, requirements and trends with product management
  • Leverage-cross functional teams to execute plans
  • Develop a strong understanding of our key customers, solutions and industries
  • Measure, analyze and report on customer satisfaction globally
  • Work in cross functional teams to foster flagship references
  • Oversee the global customer reference program including the coordination of necessary resources to build reference collateral
  • Oversee the global online customer community ensuring necessary engagement from key stakeholders
  • Develop strategic customer-research marketing programs
  • Stay abreast of customer concerns and trends to keep the organization informed
  • Roll out customer satisfaction research globally
  • Launch customer reference program globally
  • Oversee online customer community
  • Work with sales and the executive to foster flagship references
  • Lead strategic customer-research focused programs including global energy and mining surveys

Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years of software industry marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in customer focused programs
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Willing to travel 25%
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
