Description

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure successful operation of the Outsourcing Services team in accordance with the companies objectives. To provide training, feedback and support for development of the employee’s skills and achievement of the employee’s career goals.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Manager in planning and directing the daily workflow within the Central Services Teams (Refunds, Returns, Check Control, and Central Mailing Teams)
  • Manage the gathering and recording the Teams daily statistics and accurately prepare reports for Management
  • Manage and control assigned special projects in accordance with the Business Partner requirements
  • To ensure all teams are processing to meet LERETA and Business Partner standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness
  • Motivate Team and participate in cross training personnel
  • Encouraging and supporting employee suggestions for work improvements
  • Enforce company policies and serve as a role model
  • Ability and flexibility to process LERETA Central Services functions: refund s, returns, and stale dated checks. Along with imaging and mailing all lender and LERETA checks
  • Assertively communicate status of assignments and effectively communicate suggestions for improving the department’s performance to the appropriate supervisor or manager
  • Coordinate the implementation of new policy and procedures
  • Assist in approval of employee time cards
  • Complete and present Employee Evaluations
  • Approve time off and schedule changes
  •  Assume the Manager’s role in his/her absence
  • Assist the Team to ensure financial expense goals and production standards are met
  • Basic understanding of LERETA Tax General Ledger and Accounting System
  • Assist Manager with  the annual budget and monthly reforecast
  • Coach  and counsel employees and address specific performance issues
  • Recommended plans and actions to develop individual employees
  • Work with other Teams throughout the organization
  • Ensure  all assigned employees receive appropriate job training

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3-5 years tax service and/or loan service experience or 12-18 months experience as an Outsourcing Services or equivalent.

  • Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of tax service and loan service operations and procedures
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Extensive knowledge of how to process refunds and returned checks
  • Professionalism in representing LERETA to internal and external customers
  • Extensive knowledge of the LERETA on line system, MSP, LoanServ Servicing System
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience in Microsoft Access helpful
  • Requires 12 or more months experience as a Tax Team Supervisor or equivalent to Supervisor/Manager
