The Team Leader is responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the Rocky Hill, Connecticut, office. This position reports to the Regional Manager of the Rocky Hill, Connecticut, office.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises bridge inspection, evaluation, and design or repair of new bridges.
Responsible for assisting in proposal preparation.
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to their area of expertise.
Directs and supervisors other engineers and drafters.
Prepares and monitors project budgets.
Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
Be active in Technical societies, such as ACEC.
Be available to attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours.

Education and/or Experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
Ability to define problems, collect data, evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
