Delicato Family Vineyards (DFV Wines) has an immediate career opportunity for a National Sales Manager.

The Sam Jasper Portfolio, a 1.3 Million case division of Delicato Family Vineyards, has an immediate opening for a High Performance National Sales Manager to rapidly expand its Emerging National Brands in the United States. This is a High Performance position with High Performance compensation!
Collaborating with the Sr. VP of National Sales, the National Sales Manager directs and oversees the activities, sales, and immediate staff of the Sam Jasper Portfolio to develop and build new brands for national distribution. The National Sales Manager is responsible for formulating policies and sales plans, achieving profitable sales results in accordance with established brands standards, formulating pricing strategies, and driving product distribution. Establishing sales goals, quotas, territories, P&L responsibility and distribution outlets while balancing inventory and sales margins. Analyzing/controlling expenditures and reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, POS needs, etc. Coaches, develops, and mentors direct reports and holds the Division Managers accountable for coaching, developing, and managing the performance of their teams and markets to achieve success.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Sales or Marketing
Experience: 10+ years experience in direct wine sales delivering $100 million plus in revenue. Established record in developing and building aggressive and competent sales organizations, meeting and exceeding sales goals within established budgets, and contributing to successful sales plans and strategies. Experienced in sales of products with three tier distribution systems; producer, wholesaler, and retailer in a decentralized sales organizational environment. Familiarity with value-added products and development or utilization of sales training programs.
Knowledge: Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills with strong management background. High level of financial and business acumen; develop P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and deal structures. Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy; read and evaluate sales and marketing reports, analysis, and trends. Ability to stay current with company brands, programs, initiatives, policies and procedures as well as products offered by the company’s competition. Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers.
