The QA Team Lead/Senior Engineer is responsible for assisting with the QA efforts of the QA team. Responsibilities include certification of that 24/7 Real Media software. The software should be ready for production usage. All known deficiencies and risks should be well articulated to the stakeholders.
He/She must be technically savvy and Hands-on. Knowledge of Linux/Unix, databases and Internet is a must.
Should be proficient in White Box and Backend testing. Should be able to communicate with Developers at a high technical level and be able to explain technical problems.
Automation and programming experience is a big plus.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1- Certify that 24/7 Real Media software is ready for production usage while articulating quality risks to stakeholders.
2- Ensure QA group practices and procedures are followed for all software releases.
3- With input from senior QA and Technology management, set QA software release priorities.
5- Coordinate production escalation defect process/reporting to ensure timely correction of customer’s software problems and issues.
6- Identify and report to the development team all bugs assigned to each developer for their review and updates/corrections as necessary.
7- Manage the resolution and reporting of defects access the Engineering, Product Management and Operations groups.
9- Train QA group and new hires.
Support senior technology management with project management skills and responsibilities.
At least 5 years in the role of QA/Team lead/ Senior QA Engineer.

Deep technical and backend knowledge
QA automation experience, not just manual
Knowledge of QA methodologies, Test planning, Project planning, Diverse testing approaches, Automated testing and tools
In depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Processes
Excellent verbal and written communication
