Description |
The ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive PHP5/MySQL development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.
This is a senior position; we're looking for a candidate with at least 5+ years of web development experience.
Required Technical Skills:

XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX - Expert level Javascript/XHTML/CSS development will be necessary. jQuery experience preferred.

Very strong backend development skills with PHP and MySQL

Experience in a LAMP environment, with very strong OOP and MySQL skills
-
Working knowledge of SVN
-
Solid understanding and usage of Linux/Unix
-
Experience with MVC frameworks: Zend Framework
-
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success working in a team-based environment

Positive outlook and strong communication skills

Confident and creative team-player who takes initiative
Nice to have:

Understanding of SCRUM or Agile methodology

Proficiency with in-depth data mining, data analytics, data manipulation and reporting

Familiarity with LAMP/WAMP Server administration

HTML 5 and CSS 4 knowledge

Experience in database design and SQL queries including complex joins and normalization/de-normalization

Experience working in the online marketing/advertising industry is a plus
Industry Experience:
Mobile Messaging, Content Delivery via SMS/MMS, Mobile Direct billing Familiar with how short codes, carriers and aggregators work. |

Pre-Screening
When you apply for a job, you may receive a call from either the hiring Manager or the Human Resource Manager, but unfortunately, due to the volume of candidates that we receive; we cannot speak with everyone who applies.
However, for those who do move on through the process, we will typically schedule some time to chat briefly with you over the phone. This gives us an opportunity to learn more about your background,
fill in some of the blanks, and share a bit more information about the position and Mundo Media to ensure there is interest from both sides in continuing forward.
Face-to-Face Interview
Once we have both decided to move forward with a face-to-face interview, the interview will be booked at a mutually beneficial time. You will meet with the hiring Manager, the HR Manager and maybe a future colleague or two.
The interview will be a more behavioural type of interview and will last around an hour or an hour and a half. All candidates that have had a face-to face interview will be called regardless if they are the candidate chosen
for the position.
