CLASSICAL LANGUAGE OPENINGS IN LOWER, MIDDLE, AND UPPER SCHOOLS FOR 2013-2014
Although particular locations and grades are not yet determined, we will likely have a few openings at all of our veteran prep academies and the Archway academies where Latin is taught:
Archway Classical Academies (K-5):

- Archway Classical Veritas
Prep Academies (6-12):
- Veritas Preparatory Academy
- Chandler Preparatory Academy
- Mesa Preparatory Academy
- Scottsdale Preparatory Academy
- Glendale Preparatory Academy
- Teleos Preparatory Academy
- Anthem Preparatory Academy
- Trivium Preparatory Academy
- North Phoenix Preparatory Academy
Latin I and II are required courses at the middle school level at all prep academies. From there students have the option of continue on the Classical Languages track where they study Latin III/IV and Greek I/II.
HIRING PROCESS
Great Hearts hires faculty, administrators, and Lead Office staff on a rolling basis. The Great Hearts recruitment/hiring committee (led by Kiann Robinson Mapes, Chief Talent Officer) reviews all applications, then ranks and passes qualified applications on to the Heads of School. Please note: Heads of School are largely autonomous in the hiring processes for their campuses. They discern for themselves the candidates of interest, and contact, interview, and make offers to those candidates per their own hiring timetables.
Candidates may hear from one or more Head(s) of School and/or Great Hearts staff member(s) shortly after submitting their application, or they may not hear anything for a number of months (as some Heads of School prefer to interview candidates only after reviewing a large number of applications). In either case, it is in a candidate's best interest to submit application materials as soon as possible.
