Epsilon Systems Partners has a job opportunity for a Sr. Maintenance Specialist (Electrical/Electronics).
Summary: Serves as a lead for a group of personnel supporting the operations, repair, and maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment and systems of naval ships and carriers. Provides technical guidance and training to personnel within assigned group, Ship’s force, and other naval personnel. Responsible for the establishment, implementation and tracking of plan of action to address corrective actions and deficiencies.
a. Twelve (12) years’ experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance naval or marine electrical/electronic generating equipment and distribution systems is required, including.
b. Six (6) years’ experience in a position of supervisory responsibility over a subordinate work force involved in the physical maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic equipment and systems.
c. One (1) year experience as a technical instructor.
d. Twenty (20) weeks of specialized formal courses in electrical / electronics maintenance and repair of naval and marine propulsion plants is highly desired.
Able to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required, and access to government installations.
Able to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft.
Require walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise.
Able to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways, and up and down antenna masts/yardarms (onboard ships).
Able to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs in weight.
Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp.
