Epsilon Systems Solutions Mission Readiness Group has a job opportunity for a Production Manager.
Summary: Responsible for the management of assigned multi-functional production unit, department, or group. Coordinates day-to-day activities of the assigned group including personnel supervision, work assignments, and coordination of the multiple maintenance work for the customer. Supervises, guides and coaches personnel. Assists engineering staff to resolve design and documentation issues. Interfaces with planning and quality assurance personnel in the generation of process flows. Analyzes work orders and drawings. Formulates and recommends plans, policies, procedures and schedules. Implements Lean manufacturing and seeks continuous improvement. Evaluates work standards and performance levels. Inspects work in progress and finished products.
a. Ten (10) years’ experience in aircraft carrier or surface ships as applicable HM&E engineering, including
b. Five (5) years’ experience in coordinating and supervising personnel effort in accomplishing shipboard HM&E repairs. Two (2) years should be closely involved with practical aircraft carrier or surface ships as applicable maintenance availability, procedures, work integration, administration and maintenance scheduling.
c. Four (4) years’ experience in administration of the Navy Quality Assurance Program, 3M and Supply System.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to government installations.
Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise.
Able to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways, and up and down antenna masts/yardarms (onboard ships).
Able to lift, carry heavy objects of at least 25 pounds.
