Sr. Product Marketing Manager – More than a job – A direct opportunity to help people 
If you’re ready to push yourself and your career to new heights you should consider Cyberonics, where you will have the opportunity to develop, grow and lead all new market expansion for our US  and Global Markets.  Based at Corporate Headquarters located in Houston, TX our Sr. Product Marketing Manager will travel some and has direct visibility to our executive teams working on a small cross-functional team directly reporting to our Sr. Director of Epilepsy Marketing. 
While underlying knowledge of our specific products is not necessary at first, it is important for the Sr. Product Marketing Manager to be able to work with subject matter experts in order to determine real business needs.  This will require cross-functional corporation with physicians, patients, marketing colleagues, sales force, New Business Development, internal functional areas, and R&D staff regarding new product development, launch/market entry strategies, and product enhancements.  
Other Mission Critical Items: 
  • Integration of core strategic plan within global commercial strategic planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing plan which may include establishing optimal business models, business plans, competitive strategy development, pricing analysis, sales/revenue forecasts and product launches.
  • Develop sales support in terms of new product/market introductions, sales training programs and regular communication with sales force and key clinicians.
While it is important, it’s essential that the Sr. Product Marketing Manager have 5 + years’ experience in marketing preferably in Epilepsy, Central Nervous System fields and or Chanel Marking (VA/DoD, LTC). As part of this effort, Sr. Marketing Managers need to have a considerable background in developing and leading global business plans targeted in small, special niche medical device markets and need to be able to hit the ground running.  If you consider your top three strengths to be sustained demonstrations of: strategic thinking, execution of cross customer communication and success at achieving results, this opportunity was built for you.
