We are currently seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to work on and lead IT and infrastructure asset management projects, helping our clients to determine operations and maintenance management needs and implement solutions involving business process improvements and information technology.  This position will require a mix of asset management consulting and commercial maintenance management software, geographic information system, and business intelligence system implementation.  We will accept candidates in Eastern U.S., preferring the Midwest.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scopes of work for proposals pertaining to asset management and IT-related pursuits
  • Work closely with senior level staff to enhance our solutions and services related to asset management and IT
  • Manage asset management and IT projects
  • Facilitate and participate in client workshops
  • Assist clients in specifying requirements for computerized maintenance management systems, geographic information systems, and business intelligence software applications
  • Assist clients in selecting, implementing and supporting IT solutions
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining commercial software vendor alliances and certifications
  • Participate in knowledge management activities and communities of practice related to asset management and IT
  • Perform supporting activities involved in requirements analysis.
  • Perform activities related to software deployment.
  • Provide technical support to clients.

 

Position Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline area preferred
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, Infor Public Sector, Lucity, and/or Oracle WAM
  • Experience with geographic information systems, preferably ESRI
  • Minimum 6 years experience working on asset management-related IT solution implementations
  • Proven experience within the Water/Wastewater Utility arena within the U.S. is preferred
  • Database and data warehouse experience – Microsoft SQL preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage project teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts
  • Ability to interface well with professional staff and other non-technical members of the organization
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
