Big Vanilla – Arnold is seeking reliable pool operator-lifeguards, 16 years of age or older. Must have current AA County Lifeguard and Pool Operator License, and current lifeguard, CPR, and AED certifications accepted by AA County Department of Health. Must be able to work at least two shifts per week. Operator guards act as shift leaders and assume additional responsibilities. Part-time position. Physical demands for this position include ability (along with certification) to perform CPR, deploy AED, and perform vigorous compressions possibly for an extended period. Lifeguards must have swimming skills/fitness level sufficient to perform rescues and sufficient strength to handle equipment and chemicals (e.g. opening filter housings, handling 50 lb bags of bicarbonate). Ability to be alert and attentive for extended periods of time. In addition, guards must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, crawl, bend, kneel, and use tools. | |
