I-Behavior Inc., a fast paced, growing Audience marketing services company with offices located in Harrison, NY and  Louisville, CO, has a great opportunity for a Sr. Programmer/Analyst  in our Colorado office.  I-Behavior is now a KBM Group company and part of the WPP organization. As a Sr. Programmer/Analyst, you will be responsible for the intake, conversion, loading, quality control, analysis, and reporting of all data to be being transformed for ultimate ingestion of the Co-op and other marketing databases.

The primary functions are to be a data and technical expert supporting the client input stream beginning with reviewing the client’s raw data, new client setup, loading and transforming data files, and prepping data to be included in the I-Behavior databases.  Internally, this position works with several departments fulfilling the technical tasks of data transformations.

This position is also responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of scripts and programs written for file interrogation, database analysis, and job flow used by multiple production areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete custom work related to the Data Management Platform (DMP)
  • Write application programs for match back, response analysis & infrastructure
  • Develop and execute data conversion programs, using regular expressions and programs for flat file transformation, development and maintenance, ad hoc data extract, variable edit, and report generation, in a PC/Server environment.
  • Take responsibility for data integrity; deliver on programming requirements and meet required deadlines.
  • Adhere to standards for program and process documentation.
  • Continuously enhance program efficiency, reducing production time and resource requirements.
  • Development and maintenance of perl and sql related programs used by production personell.
  • Execute extensive quality assurance procedures.
  • Develop an understanding of data processing issues related to I-Behavior's evolving business strategy, and provide possible solutions.

Skills needed

  • Technical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • 2+ years Linux/Unix
  • 2+ years using SQL in Oracle environment
  • 2+ years of Perl programming experience
  • Shell scripting
  • Regular expressions
  • PL/SQL experience preferred
  • Experience and proven performance in direct marketing and support of direct channel sales, along with use of targeting tools in implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Extreme attention to detail and data quality
  • Ability to work in fast paced and highly dynamic work environment
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communications, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize, self-manage, and seek help or direction when necessary
  • Manage multiple tasks and high volume workload
