W R Systems, LTD has an immediate need for a Field Representative (UHF SATCOM) to provide on-site maintenance repair and support to the Fleet Technical Branch of the Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA). Support includes system installation, operation, maintenance, assessment and connectivity problems including peripheral, interfaced and support systems.
This extremely challenging, exciting and rewarding position at NSSA in providing assessments (C5RA, INSURV, CSPAT, CSSOT), grooms, alignments, tech assists, repairs, training and distant support for the following ship board communications systems and equipment: AN/WSC-3 SATCOM Radios all variants, and all variants and components of the OE-82 antenna system, TD-1271 DAMA, OK-454/ OK455, AN/USC-42 Mini DAMA and surface variants, AN/USQ-145 and MD 1324 (5KHZ), AN/WSC-3 LOS radios, all variants, AN/USC-61 DMR and TV-DTS. Although not required, previous experience working for OEM, ISEA NSSA, RMC, FTSCLANT or MOTU is a plus.

4 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of all SATCOM and broadband systems and equipment listed above.
The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, Excel; & Adobe Acrobat.
