Skills RequiredManage Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) performance and maintain network security. Installs, maintains and monitors network operations. Evaluates vendor products in hardware, software and telecommunications equipment and recommends purchases consistent with short and long term objectives. Recommends and implements network policies and standards, ensuring adherence to security procedures. Maintains contact with outside organizations regarding the maintenance, service and/or purchase of the LAN. Trains users on network operations and procedures in administration of local area or wide area networks in Windows and UNIX.

Skills Desired:  8 years work experiences. Specific Experience Areas Include:  Visual Studio, MatLab, ArcGIS, MOVINT Client, ISR Forensics, GLINT, Google Earth, SOCET GXP, SMS TK / AGI TK ASP, REAPIR, Adobe Pro (GEOPDF capability), Remote View, ENVI, Erdas Imagine, Optics / COMET, Modtran, PFPS (Falconview)

Position Description:  Directly support activities necessary to maintain and sustain the STS analyst tools and computer-related infrastructure.  Specific goals for this effort include:  (a) performing system and network administration at NASIC in support of AGI production, to include data handling; (b) providing instruction on the techniques and software and tools used by the contractor team to the joint contractor and government team; and (c) hardware, software and related infrastructure support, and (d) independent testing and checkout of new hardware and software.  The work performed shall allow for effective and efficient operations which avoid significant interruptions, problems, slowdowns, and setbacks. This effort also includes resolution/support of minor residual defects of government owned/developed software as well as workstation and server computer software, hardware, firmware and associated networks sustainment and maintenance.
