Position Title: Billing Specialist Level II & III

To partner with communities to create the knowledge and information solutions to promote access, high quality, and affordable healthcare for all.
The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing high quality billing services to and/or account management of one or more OCHIN Billing Services member clinics. This position will involve detailed financial analysis to recognize potential high risk accounts and develop techniques to help collect money and streamline processes.
The Billing Specialist will identify difficult or unique collection problems and escalate them to their immediate Supervisor and/or Billing Manager. The Billing Specialist will resolve issues, apply new information to future collection issues, and make suggestions to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement with the assistance of their immediate Supervisor. This position will enhance the billing department’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
