We are currently accepting resumes for an Associate Field Surveyor in our Centennial office. Currently, we are seeking a full-time employee (32 to 40 hours per week) to begin as soon as possible.

Job Description / Accountabilities:

Work in the field with different Party Chiefs or as One-Person crew, as needed

Provide support to Party Chiefs: check field data & plans, perform basic survey calculations, confirm schedules, identify equipment & supply needs and understand safety requirements at each site.

Perform GPS and robotic field surveying on construction staking, design mapping and boundary surveys

Review plans and project documents for completeness and survey calculation accuracy

Manage daily field data (upload, download, field notes, produce cut sheets), perform minor maintenance of survey equipment & supplies for field crew

Interface with Chief of Parties, clients and designers to learn and understand project requirements, goals and safety practices

Perform basic research of property ownership, record documents, BLM research, title document review

Requirements

Minimum 5 years current land surveying experience in design, construction and boundary surveys

LSIT preferred or ability to pursue licensure

Motivated to advance into Party Chief role, growing skills and responsibilities

Excellent skills with robotic and GPS equipment, data collection methods & software:  reviewing and manipulating GPS data, familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC) a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail & coordination

Ability to work on multiple projects, effectively manage field data & work with different Party Chiefs on varying projects throughout the front range & Colorado.

Ability to perform field data processing (upload & download) and basic CAD platform analyses
