This specialist position sells and promotes the entire products and services of a specific product category with our sales team. This position has primary responsibility for training Commercial and Industrial sales organizations in the category and assists in training customer. This position may develop existing customers and new prospects into long-term customers. This position interacts with suppliers to provide best solutions for NA customers.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Works closely with Director of Sales, Account Executives, Business Leaders, Purchasing, Marketing, other internal team members. Frequent contact with customer influences/decision makers. Consults/works with factory representatives.
- Provide technical sales support to Sales.
- Assist in up selling in existing accounts.
- Conduct site surveys, product demonstrations, and training.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Must have janitorial supplies experience.
- 3-5 years sales support role (outside).
- 3-5 years account management.
- Customer presentation skills.
- Proficient negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
