Equipment Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

Equipment Coordinators provide support in the areas of equipment accountability, line crew movement and helicopter activity on our geophysical crews. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager Personnel.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Keeping an accurate inventory of all equipment received and sent from the crew.
Keeping a detailed count of all equipment and its location on a daily basis.
Taking direction from the Observerto ensure proper movement of equipment on spread.
Tracking and organizing movement of line crews as directed by the Observer.
Ensuring all QHSES policies and procedures are being followed by all personnel on crew.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Extensive experience working on 2D and large 3D geophysical projects.
Experience in a variety of recording modes (dynamite, vibroseis, truck/heli support, etc.)
Strong leadership skills.
A strong commitment to QHSES (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Security) and a ability to manage QHSES activities at a recording crew level.
Excellent attention to detail.
Punctual, dependable, and responsible.
Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with all crew members.
Experience and knowledge of inventory systems would be an asset.
Prior experience as Equipment Coordinator would be an asset.
Strong team player.
