We are in search of exceptional team members to join our team as Field Specialists.  Field Specialists are the first and last face of the company that the group will see.  As a Field Specialist, you will assist students and teachers at airports and theatre walks in the New York City area.  This WorldStrides unique approach ensures that we provide a highly skilled professional every step of the way from when they arrive to when they return. 

Role Description:

The Field Specialist role is seasonal, primarily from February through June each year.  The hours will vary each day, seven days a week.  Field Specialists are scheduled to assist our groups as they arrive and/or depart at NYC airports or as they walk throughout Manhattan. 




  • Efficiently handle arriving and departing groups in an expedient, courteous, and customer focused manner.
  • Manage any issues that occur while engaged with the group to include but not limited to flight issues, baggage, security, etc.
  • Maintain and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Must be extremely flexible to accommodate scheduling needs.



  • High School Diploma. Post secondary education/training is a plus.
  • Team player that works well with students, teachers, and office staff.
  • Must have very good knowledge of NYC’s attractions, landmarks, airports and public transportation system.
  • Dedicated, reliable, energetic, enthusiastic individual.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Quick thinking and creative problem solving skills are required.
  • Ability to tactfully manage stressful and/or challenging situations.
  • Skilled at multitasking and able to work with minimal supervision
