Shared Services - Technical Workforce Management Consultant

Description

Job Location: Remote - Work from Home/ Up to 75% Client Travel
Reports To:     Manager, WFM Consulting
 
Position Summary:
The Technical Workforce Management Consultant configures, tests, and troubleshoots software design and configuration for large commercial off-the-shelf software applications.  This position is also responsible for reporting and interfaces configuration/build and testing.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Ability to learn new software applications and modules quickly and independently
  • Development of bi-directional interfaces using advanced SQL along with proprietary vendor specific toolsets
  • Development of custom reports using crystal reports, Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SSRS
  • Experience in working within complex business environments and high-pressure, fast-paced projects in a collaborative team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic, displaying dependability and commitment to both WFI’s and the client’s success  
Preferred Technical Expertise and Skills: 
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics preferred and minimum of 2 years’ experience using SQL, Java, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages SQL, Java, XML, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience with Kronos, Workforce Software, API, Red Prairie, Empower Software, or ADP systems a plus
 
Required:
  • Must receive a “B” or better grade in Calculus II (copy of transcript will be requested)
