We are looking for a Hotel Operations Coordinator with online travel or related hospitality experience to manage the daily supply operations associated with hotel onboarding, pricing and promotions, inventory availability & quality checks for our new hotel online booking engine. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with our sales managers and our hotel partners to manage all of the operational details associated with online hotel booking and distribution. Above all, the ideal candidate must be proactively obsessive about quality and the delivery of top-notch customer satisfaction.
•Input hotel profiles, including rates, inventory and rules as needed for hotels in our system.
•Provide new hotel partners the support required to onboard to our booking engine. Act as the liaison for any hotel operations approvals and testing required to launch.
•Support hotel partners by providing training and answering questions on inventory connectivity, rates management, promotional deal capabilities, and booking related policies, both with the initial onboarding of new partners and from an ongoing maintenance and account management perspective.
•Help educate hotels on operationalising the Travelzoo rate with extras for a seamless guest experience.
•Review and analyse competitive rates through tools provided. Monitor and report on inventory and availability parity and agreements set are being adhered to, and communicate any discrepancies to the respective sales managers.
•Proactively identify back-end system enhancements to improve supply availability and competitiveness. Provide hotel operations testing tied to the release of new supply and new technical functionality.
•Educate sales managers on rate mapping, rate parity, and rate distribution channels so they are able to speak intelligently to our hotel partners.
•Partner with Customer Service to troubleshoot any challenges as needed.
•3+ years’ experience with hotel e-commerce, ideally within operations for an online travel company or a related travel company
•Natural, genuine, customer-service oriented individual

•Strong organisational and time-management skills
•Quick and resourceful, flexible, accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
•Excellent communication skills; ability to maintain positive and professional demeanour when under pressure.
•Team player, motivated and enjoys to work in online travel and hospitality
•Fluency in German essential
•Proficient in Microsoft Office. Computer literacy is a must.
