Resources for the Future (www.RFF.org) is a nonprofit research and public policy organization that focuses on a variety of natural resource, public health, and environmental issues. Established in 1952, the organization is committed to both scholarly excellence and policy analysis. Researchers at RFF address a wide range of issues including benefit-cost analysis of environmental and other health and safety regulations; economics of public health and disease interventions; the economics of energy and the environment, forestry, biodiversity, water, and other resources; issues related to the environment and the economy of developing countries; and conceptual modeling and analysis of public policy pertaining to these topics.
RFF is currently recruiting for a payroll-project accounting clerk (entry-level) to process semi-monthly payroll to coordinate with benefit elections as well as project accounting on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate must possess mature judgement, discretion, tact, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (verbal and written), understanding of finance and accounting are required. Further details of job duties are provided below:

Special Education/Experience Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience in this area.
Special Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Experience with Solomon IV accounting system preferred. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be discreet, well organized and detail oriented.
