SUMMARY:

The Senior Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for leading our recruiting function through the full life-cycle of the recruiting process.  This includes partnering with hiring managers to develop creative recruiting methods; sourcing, interviewing (includes scheduling testing and interviews), recommending top notch candidates, negotiation of job offers, offer letter generation, pre-boarding, new hire orientation and on-boarding. The successful candidate will be experienced in the development of strategic recruiting processes including branding, use of social media and other creative sourcing methods.

Qualifications/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree 
  • 2-3 years of professional recruiting experience, preferably in insurance/finance
  • Proven ability to utilize multiple sourcing techniques
  • Proven organizational skills to track, report and communicate recruitment outcomes in a timely manner
  • Proven client management skills; experience at building effective relationships, credibility and rapport with business partners and leaders in a corporate setting
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and coordinate multiple staffing assignments in various stages of the interview process
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibility
  • Ability and comfort with presenting in front of large and small audiences
  • Proficiency in application and operation of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced) and experience in human resources software programs (PeopleSoft)
  • Experience with Taleo, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media recruitment strategies and ImageRight a plus.
  • 5-10% travel required both locally and domestically
