Sr. Hardware Design Engineer Overview:
- Hardware design responsibility across all stages of product development, encompassing system architecture, design, component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, BOM creation, test and debug.
- Engineering/design/product verification test experience either directly or in close collaboration with test engineering teams.
- Work closely with a team of hardware, software & firmware test engineers, developers and designers, along with manufacturing to produce high quality, consumer electronics. 

Required skills & experience:
- Must have the passion and drive to excel in a startup environment (albeit a well funded startup with an incredible opportunity sitting in front of it :))
- Hardware design experience across product development lifecycle.
- Embedded C programming, including writing low-level drivers and interfaces.
- Senior level position, which typically requires at least 4 years experience. Open to more senior candidates.
- Engineering degree in electrical or mechatronics is required.

Nice to have skills & experience:
- Experience working with low-power wireless systems (Bluetooth, Zigbee, NFC etc.).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
- Consumer electronics product design experience is a significant bonus given this product will be used by millions of consumers eventually.
- Expertise in understanding regulatory requirements and the implications in design for a consumer electronics product.
