gdR (Grossman Dorland Recruiting) is recruiting for a Project Manager to join the technology group of an industry leading Marketing Services organization. The Project Manager is part of the Technology Group and reports to the CIO.
Our Client:
- Marketing Services company the provides both digital and 'physical' marketing services.
- Their customers incl. Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Depot, CIBC, Zellers & other large retailers.
- $80 million+ revenue, industry leader, entrepreneurial, Canadian company, 100s of employees.
Responsibilities:
- IDEAL candidate experience includes either warehouse mgmt, inventory mgmt, supply chain or retail software experience.
- Project manages internal and some client-facing technology projects to design & implement innovative applications & functionality.
- Guide project teams that include business users, product managers, business analysts, QA, developers and sys admin.
- Gather and validate information from various stakeholders to create all project documentation (e.g., project scope, statement of work, project plans, etc.).
- Manage scope, project plans, resources and deliverables through the lifespan of the project.
- Coordinate team member activities so that their deliverables are seamlessly integrated and delivered on time.
Skills and Experience:
- IDEAL candidate experience includes either warehouse mgmt, inventory mgmt, supply chain or retail software experience.
- 4+ years experience as a project manager on software & technology focused projects.
- Solid track record of successfully delivering technology projects on-time from start to completion.
- Excellent ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop project plans and facilitate meetings.
- Experience communicating requirements & project information between client and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with external clients.
- Self-starter with the necessary drive to be successful in a fast-paced environment.
- Success creating a positive, collaborative project environment.
- Calm and patient under pressure.
