Our Business Enterprise Solutions Team ("BEST") provides outsourced services including; bookkeeping,  payroll, managing banking and finance relationships, cash flow management, management reporting, government filings and general business advice. In addition, the team also offers Notice to Reader (NTR) Financial Statements, corporate income tax preparation and filing, investment company accounting and preparation of Audit Working Papers.

Major Responsibilities

  • Preparation and bookkeeping of Notice to Reader files
  • Prepare corporate and personal tax returns
  • Prepare trust and partnership returns
  • Prepare HST returns
  • Prepare T4’s and T5’s
  • Assist in payroll source deduction calculations
  • Correspond with clients and tax authorities
  • Complete regular reports to team scheduler with feedback on workload

Experience and Qualifications

  • A university degree
  • At least four years’ related experience working in public accounting firm is a must
  • Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns
  • Working knowledge of Tax Prep, Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong QuickBooks skills
  • Good time management, analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment
