Description

 

CIMA+ is currently searching for an Asset Management Specialist for southern Ontario. The successful candidate will conceptualize, develop and implement asset and risk management strategies, capital plans, and targeted maintenance and rehabilitation initiatives for a variety of asset owners and operators. Duties also include identifying emerging market and industry trends and developing functional software tools for effective asset management decision making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement a business development and marketing strategy to develop work related to asset management and infrastructure rehabilitation;
  • Manage and grow an asset management group in Ontario;
  • Act as project manager and provide technical leadership and direction to project team members throughout all project phases;
  • Management of project tasks, schedules, budgets, cost control processes and work procedures;
  • Provide training, technical guidance and mentoring of junior engineers and technical support staff;
  • Project proposal development and presentations.

 

Requirements:

  • A university degree or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering;
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) and member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO);
  • Minimum 5 years experience in asset management in a consulting capacity;
  • Working knowledge and experience in international standards for asset management practice;
  • Solid technical writing skills demonstrated through experience in writing reports and proposals;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
